One Bright Day In The Future City

The future is bright in Future City where the kids and the young-at-heart enjoyed a one-of-a-kind experience of learning about good nutrition and living a healthier lifestyle by educating and empowering the children on what is beneficial for their mind and body and showcasing it in a fun and engaging way.

I was invited to the launch last September 6, 2017 where I got to experience what the digital park had to offer.  It was only open for one weekend (too short) from September 9-10 at the SMX Convention Center in SM Aura.  My wife Ayen and I took our daughter Sofia that weekend to experience The Future City Digital Park sponsored by NESTLÉ NANKID OPTIPRO FOUR, a milk designed specifically for our child’s growth and development through the power of Optimized Protein.

The park had 6 unique stations that began at the Future Dome where they got a glimpse of towering smart skyscrapers, solar powered walls and interactive cityscapes. From there we were led to the Sketch Village where the children got to color different patterns.  Their work were scanned and shown on a gigantic LED screen, and for kids it is a big deal to see their artwork on the screen.  More interactive stations were situated all over the place.

I particularly liked the Family Health Screener station, which helped us parents assess our family health history by determining what diseases and conditions can be inherited by our kids and help educate ourselves on what can be done to prevent these from passing it on to our children. It was truly a fun and enlightening day for all of us who got to explore so many interesting and engaging concepts that opened our eyes to a positive and brighter future for our children’s health both physically and mentally.
