About

I am Franco, a family man who considers my wife Ayen and our children Mariella, Angia, Sofia and Lucia as my greatest blessings.

I graduated from KEIO University in Japan with a bachelor’s degree in History.  I got to spend 5 ½ years of my life in Tokyo, which has made me proficient in the Japanese language.  I also speak English and Filipino fluently.

I am an actor and singer from the Philippines. My career began in Television with a co-hosting stint for the dance show Eezy Dancing, in 1996.  Soon after, I became the co-host of the highly rated dance show Keep On Dancing. I found my true calling in theater when I played the role of Bharata, in the production, Rama at Sita in 1999.  Through hard work and dedication in my craft I was honored to receive two Best Actor in a Musical Awards for my work in the musicals Honk, The Ugly Duckling and Isang Panaginip na Fili.

Being in my fifties, I keep myself fit by swimming at least three times a week.  I had the honor of representing the Philippines in international swimming competitions and was part of the National Swimming Team in the 80’s.

Alongside my love for the performing arts, I discovered a new passion in writing and started my blog The Happy Man in 2012 that led me to work as an Editor for two lifestyle magazines for a time.

Through my blog I share with you my favorite things, my passion for the arts and all about life. My goal is to inspire, spread joy and positivity to my readers as I open my life to the world.
