My Elegant Filipina

They say it takes a village to look the way you look in major events and it is quite true. Not to discount the fact that my wife Ayen is simply gorgeous, she still needs a reliable team of style experts to get her glam ready for special events.

One such event was for TingTing’s List of Elegant Filipinas 2019 where Ayen was given the distinction to be in such an illustrious roster of empowered women who exudes elegance, beauty, style and confidence in their chose fields.

For her photoshoot with Jojo Guingona, Ayen had her make-up done by B Delgado and her hair by Brent Opinion. She chose to wear Joanna Preysler for her full body shot and Jun Escario’s lace dress for her head shot.

Ayen vowed to support Filipino designers and one of them is Jojie Lloren who she has known since the early 90’s when both of them were starting their respective careers. Ayen wanted a simply but elegant look and that is what Jojie delivered. Assisted by Windel Madis, the look was what Ayen exactly wanted.

The overall look was what we all envisioned, showcasing her natural beauty in the style she is most comfortable in. Nothing loud, just simply elegant.
