Bali On My Mind – Part 1

Many say that Bali is one of the most beautiful places in the world and that everyone should go there at least once in your life. So my wife Ayen and I along with our two girls, Mariella and Angia flew to Bali, Indonesia via Malaysian Airlines where we had a stop over in Kuala Lumpur for about 4 hours.  We took the opportunity to rest in the lounge which was pretty cozy.  I was quite impressed with the airport where a “jungle” was located in the middle of the terminal.

As soon as we landed in Bali, we were greeted with a throng of tourists lining up to get a visa.  This was one of the rare times that we traveled to a country where we didn’t need one.  We proceeded to The Four Seasons Resort in Denpasar where we were warmly greeted by the staff who immediately brought us to our villa that had a magnificent view of the ocean.

The next day we headed to the pool which was a sight to behold there was a waterfall below the infinity pool that literally made you feel you were in paradise.

Everywhere we went there was somebody handing out cold towels, serving ice-cold water melon, ice drops and unlimited supply of mineral water now that is service deluxe.

Our third and fourth day were spent on the private beach of The Four Seasons called Coconut Grove where we had our own cabana.

The Four Seasons Resort is the perfect place to relax, enjoy and let go. We didn’t want to leave.  Bali will always be on my mind.  We kept on saying our son Hasan will enjoy it in here.  We will definitely be back and perhaps stay longer so that we can explore the island more.

This is just the first installment. More on Bali in my upcoming posts.
