My last installment on our Bali trip brings us to Semanyak where most of the clubs are located and the shopping is sublime. The girls got so excited when they saw the shops after being in traffic for more than an hour from the Four Seasons Resort in Denpassar. We had to rush to the world famous Potato Head Beach Club since our reservation at Lilin Restaurant was at 7:30pm and they only hold the table for 10mins. I used to wonder why they called the beach club that. I was thinking to myself maybe they serve a lot of potato dishes or there was actually a big potato head in the club. I was fascinated with the iconic facade of Potato Head, where a collage of colored windows made of teak wood were all stacked together. It was breathtaking.

The set up of Lilin is like a cafeteria where people sit down in a communal area. Since Lilin’s specialty is seafood we ordered the best and msot popular dishes dishes in the menu. Our favorite was the Lobster Green Curry and the Grilled Flat Fish. The chicken was tender and full of flavorful.
Surprisingly, the club is kid friendly, my youngest daughter, Angia was so fascinated with the pool area where the walkway to the restrooms gave one an illusion like we were walking on water. We really loved the vibe and ambiance.
Before going back to our resort, the girls got to do some last minute shopping where we literally closed the shops. It felt like the amazing race of shopping! So much fun!
Blessings,
