I had the pleasure of being invited to the Vernissage of the INTIMATE AUDREY at S Maison where I met the son of Audrey Hepburn, Sean Hepburn Ferrer, and her granddaughter, Emma Hepburn Ferrer.
I felt I got to know more about Audrey Hepburn through her collection of personal things that spoke so much about who she really was, a woman with a beautiful heart.
Out of all the things that were on display, the one thing that stood out to me was the Honorary Oscar that was given to her posthumously. It was the closest I had ever been to an Academy Award.
Adding the Filipino touch to the exhibit were the gowns of Filipino designers that were inspired by the elegance and style of Audrey Hepburn through the years. Below is a photo of my dear friend JC Buendia showing his black and white creation.
