When it comes to shoes, there are three things I look for, one is comfort, two is style and three is durability. I have tried almost all the top name brand shoes there is and some are really good and some are just really nice to look at but a torture to wear. I am not going to reveal which brands they were as I still believe in their other products.
I first heard about Dr. Kong from my cousin Cat Arambulo Antonio who swore they were so comfortable that she even did a comparison with a well-known shoe brand (talk about being brave, that’s why I love Cat). When I had the chance to drop by one of the Dr. Kong stores in the metro, I was surprised to find a wide range of styles that immediately caught my eye. The friendly and accommodating staff of Dr. Kong asked me to have my feet checked before trying on the shoes. It was a free computerized foot-checking machine that analyzes the arch, heel and shape of your feet. I have normal/high arches so they recommended certain styles that would give me comfort to help take away the stress on my feet. Now talk about being thorough.
I tried on almost all the styles and ended up getting the classic lace-up shoes that I could wear to events and a pair of driving shoes, which I have been looking for the longest time. I couldn’t believe I found them in Dr. Kong. I first wore the classic lace-up leather shoes at a gala and I lasted the whole night without any pain.
It was like I had worn them forever and the comfort level was through the roof. I must say it was like a piece of heaven on my feet. I have been wearing them at events and parties, and not once did I feel discomfort and pain. I love how simple and chic the design is which fits my personality. The best part about it is it keeps my feet healthy.
