What a night! The Tatler Ball returned after a 2 year hiatus with a bang to celebrate Tatler Philippine’s 21st Anniversary.
It was truly a remarkable evening of philanthropy, love and friendship, after almost 3 years of uncertainty with the global pandemic, seeing friends in their finest partying for a worthy cause was a sight to see.
It also the first time I did not wear a mask for most of the evening since I know that all the guests were sent antigen swab test kits and were required to send the results on the day of the ball. I really appreciated that and kudos to Irene Martel Francisco, Tatler Philippines’ Managing Director and the whole Tatler team for putting together a ball we will never forget.
The highlight of the evening was the auction where the goal was to raise at least Php8 million for U-Go Philippines to send at least 1,000 young Filipinas to school. The auction went wild as paddles kept on being raised trying to outbid each other. By the end of the evening a total of Php40 million was raised.
Again a huge congratulations to Irene, Anton San Diego, Isabel Martel Francisco, Stephanie Zubiri and everyone involved in putting the 21st Tatler Ball together. The level of excellence is unparalleled! It was an honor to be invited. Cheers!
