One Night In Bangkok

It has been a while since I last traveled out of the country alone and I had the opportunity to go to Bangkok, Thailand to host and perform at the Tourism Promotions Board of the Philippines “MICE Philippines: We Take Your Business to Heart” event at the Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld.  I had the honor of being with TPB’s COO Marga Nograles who has been doing a fantastic job in promoting our country as the premier destination for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibition – where business seamlessly blends with leisure.

My first solo trip in years.

I will literally in Bangkok for one night and I made the most out of my stay there. From the moment I arrived and checked in at the Grand Hyatt Earwax Hotel in the heart of Bangkok, I took the train and went to EmQuartier to check out some stores that specifically Homme Plisse Issey Miyake, which is not available in the Philippines yet. I tried on the clothes that I have been seeing onits website and I couldn’t resist getting a pair f pants I have been eyeing for some time. Yes I gave in.

Soon after I went to have dinner alone at Cheese Cake Factory, yes I ate there alone.  I walked a bit more and went back to the hotel to get some sleep cause I knew I had to wake up early for work.

After the event I along with NuWorkPH’s Ticia Ople went straight to the airport to come home to Manila.  It was a trip I didn’t know I needed and enjoyed a lot but of course I couldn’t wait to be with Ayen and my girls.

I can’t thank Marga and th Tourism Board of the Philippines for the trust and opportunity to do this for our country 🇵🇭!

My deepest appreciation to Apples Aberin and Ticia Ople of Nu Works PH, for taking such good care of me.
